SKIN FOODS: HOT GIRLS EAT SARDINES

First of many recipes, but tinned fish has to come first – this one is also packed with creatine for all my infrared sculpt girls.

A little pic of everything mixed all together Over the last year or so, tinned fish has grown on me dramatically. I’d love to blame Toni Bravo and Mei – who somehow make sardines look both chic and delicious online – but honestly, alongside my trusted food gurus, it really started in the Algarve two summers ago. I stumbled across shelves lined with the most beautifully packaged tins of fish and became instantly obsessed.

What began as admiration for the aesthetics quickly turned into appreciation for the benefits too: great for your hair, skin and nails, packed with protein, and ridiculously convenient after an evening workout. Safe to say, anything in a tin has earned permanent residency in my kitchen.

The recipes I keep coming back to are the ones that are quick, easy and actually satisfying and lately, the internet’s latest obsession has fully pulled me in: sardines. Dubbed the new “hot girl meal” staple, I had to join the movement and turn them into a loaded toast situation that works perfectly for breakfast, lunch, or a pre-teaching snack before heading out the door. Here’s my little recipe: - Jason's sourdough bread - Perello spicy olives - Tomatoes - Parsley - Garlic - Salt & pepper - Sardines (I used Ortiz) - Olive oil (or you could use the oil from the tin)
